ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $210,656.93 FROM THE ARTERIAL TRANSMISSION
& GRID MAIN TRUST FUND NO. 2090104030 TO PAY DR. PEDRO
TORRES' REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
3,480 LINEAR FEET OF 12 -INCH PVC GRID MAIN TO DEVELOP ST.
GERMAINE SUBDIVISION, BLOCK 1, LOT 1; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $210,656.93 from the Arterial Transmission and Grid Main Trust
Fund No 209010 -4030 is appropriated to pay Dr. Pedro Torres' reimbursement request
for the installation of 3.480 linear feet of 12 -inch PVC water grid main to develop St.
Germain Subdivision. Block 1 Lot 1 located west of Flour Bluff Drive and south of
Glenoak Drive.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy
attached the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and suspends the Charter ule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take
effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 12th of December, 2006.

emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings: I /we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or
at the present meeting of the City Council.
