RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION TO SERVE AS THE FISCAL AGENT FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, COMMUNITY CAPACITY
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE, WEED AND SEED FY 2007 — 2008 WEED
AND SEED SOUTH EAST SITE (FLOUR BLUFF) PROGRAM, WITH
DOJ FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $175,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to submit a grant application
to serve as the Fiscal Agent for the Department of Justice, Community Capacity
Development Office, Weed and Seed FY 2007 — 2008 Weed and Seed South East Site
(Flour Bluff) Program, with DOJ funding in the amount of $175,000.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the
terms and conditions of, or terminate the grant, if awarded to the City.
