AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A
GRANT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES IN
THE AMOUNT OF $80,000 FOR COSTS RELATED TO THE
PROVISION OF DIABETES PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT
SERVICES AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant from the
Department of State Health Services in the amount of $80,000 for personnel costs,
fringe benefits, travel, supplies, and contractual costs related to the provision of
diabetes prevention and management services and to execute all related documents.
