AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON THE ARTS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 FOR SUPPORT FOR THE 2008
FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS, WITH A CITY MATCH OF $10,000 IN THE
NO. 1030 ARTS GRANTS/PROJECTS FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a grant application
to the Texas Commission on the Arts, in the amount of $10,000, for support for the 2008
Festival of the Arts, with a $10,000 City match in the No. 1030 Arts Grants/Projects
Fund.
