APPROPRIATING X9,899 IN TRAINING REVENUES RECEIVED FROM
DEL MAR COLLEGE AND THE PORTLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT INTO
THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE
AN ALL -TERRAIN VEHICLE; AMENDING THE FY 2006-2007
OPERATING BUDGET, ADOPTED IN ORDINANCE NO, 026908 BY
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY
X9,899 EACH; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $9,899 in training revenues received from Del Mar College and the
Portland Fire Department is appropriated in the general fund for the Fire Department's
purchase of an all -terrain vehicle.
SECTION 2. That the FY 2006-2007 Operating Budget, adopted by Orthnance No.
026908, is amended in increasing estimated revenues and appropriafions by $9,899.00
each.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Coundd members, copy
attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the 17th day of July, 2007.
