AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED
STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, DRUG ENFORCEMENT
ADMINISTRATION (DEA) IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$20,000 FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE
OFFICERS ON AN OVERTIME BASIS TO A JOINT
OPERATION/TASK FORCE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a
cooperative agreement with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement
Administration (DEA) in an amount not to exceed $20,000 for the Police Department to
provide officers on an overtime basis to a joint operation/task force.
