HomeMy WebLinkAbout027429 RES - 09/25/2007A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A GRANT OF $202,923 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES TO PROVIDE ESSENTIAL PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant of $202,923 from the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide essential public health services and to execute all related documents. These grant funds provide support for disease investigation and surveillance, laboratory, environmental health, and community health education services.
