AUTHORIZING THE RENAMING OF THE PARKDALE BRANCH
PUBLIC LIBRARY TO THE "AN1TA & W. T. NEYLAND PUBLIC
LIBRARY," AS RECOMMENDED BY THE LIBRARY BOARD, UPON
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FACILITY AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION I. 026129 WHICH PREVIOUSLY
AUTHORIZED THE RENAMING OF THE PARKDALE BRANCH PUBLIC
LIBRARY TO THE "WILLIAM T. N EYLAN D PUBLIC LI F AF Y."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The renaming of the Parkdale Branch Public Library to the "Anita & W. T.
Neyland Public Library," as recommended by the Library Board, is authorized upon
completion of improvements to the facility.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 026129, adopted by the City Council on January 25, 2005,
which previously authorized the renaming of the Parkdale Branch Public Library to the
"William T. Neyland Public Library," is repealed.
