APPROPRIATING IATING IN THE WASTEWATER CIP FUND NO. 3430
$19,364.80 FROM THE LAMARR WOMACK AND ASSOCIATES, LP

PROJECT NO. 6265; CHANGING THE FY 2006-2007 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT EMENT BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 026997 BY
INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS IATIONS I ! WASTEWATER CIP FUND NO. 3430
BY $19,364.80; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, LaMarr Womack and Associates, LP contributed $19,364.80 to the City to
fund the installation of a manhole and 106 feet of 8 -inch PVC wastewater line to serve its
property and required for the development of its property, to be installed in conjunction with
the City's Up River Road Reconstruction Project #6265 to avoid damage to a newly
reconstructed street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. An amount of $19,364.80 (from the LaMarr Womack and Associates, LP
contribution) is appropriated in the Wastewater CIP Fund No. 3430 for the Up River Road
Reconstruction Project No. 6265.
SECTION 1. The FY 2006-2007 Capital Improvement Budget is changed by increasing
appropriations by $19,364.80.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy
attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate
action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and suspends
the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency this the 20th of November, 200 7.

emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting

Charter rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present
meeting of the City Council.
