HomeMy WebLinkAbout027507 ORD - 12/11/2007ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $'14,999.61 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING OF AN IMPAIRED DRIVING MOBILIZATION SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROJECT (STEP) GRANT FOR DWI ENFORCEMENT OVERTIME WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN NO. 1061 POLICE GRANTS FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $14,999.61 from the Texas Department of Transportation is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund for funding of an impaired driving mobilization Selective Traffic Enforcement Project (STEP) grant for DWI enforcement overtime within the police department. SECTION 2.
