A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO
SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE COASTAL BEND
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS NMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,000
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009 REGIONAL SOLID WASTE
GRANTS PROGRAM TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A
TECHNICAL STUDY FOCUSING ON TIRE RECLAMATION AND
RECYCLING FOR PARKS MATERIALS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to submit a
grant application to the Coastal Bend Council of Governments in the amount of
$45000 for the fiscal year 2008-2009 Regional solid Waste Grants Program to
provide funding for a technical study focusing on tire reclamation and recycling
for parks materials.
