AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT WITH NUECES COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN
THE CRISIS INTERVENTION TEAM (CIT), TO PROVIDE
OFFICERS TRAINED IN CRISIS INTERVENTION TO SERVE ON
THE TEAM, AND PROVIDE $50,000 OF IN-KIND SERVICES FOR
OFFICER TRAINING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CRISIS
INTERVENTION TEAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an
amendment to the interlocal agreement with Nueces County to participate in the Crisis
Intervention Team (CIT), to provide officers trained in crisis intervention to serve on the
team, and provide $50,000 of in-kind services for officer training to participate in the
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT).
