AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY GOVERNOR'S DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT,
IN THE AMOUNT OF 59,000.00, FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLANNING ACTIVITIES, IN THE NO.
1062 FIRE GRANTS FUND.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to accept a grant from
the Texas Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Management in the
amount of $9,000.00 for hazardous materials emergency preparedness planning
activities, in the No. 1062 Fire Grants Fund.
