RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE
HEALTH SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000 FOR A
COMMUNITY OBESITY PREVENTION PROJECT — THE
COORDINATED COMMUNITY APPROACH TO PROMOTE WELLNESS
(CCAPWELL)
BE IT RESOLVED ED Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to submit a grant
application to the Texas Department of State Health Services in the amount of $50,000
for a Community Obesity Prevention Project — the Coordinated Community Approach to
Promote Wellness CCAPI ell ,
SECTION . This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption by the City Council.
