AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING IATING $30,'165.58 FROM THE WATER DISTRIBUTION
UTION
MAIN TRUST ST FUND NO. 540450-21806-4030 TO REIMBURSE
DONALD AND KATHLEEN KIRCHBERG FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
928 LINEAR FEET OF 8 -INCH PVC WATER DISTRIBUTION UTIOI MAIN FOR
RHEW INDUSTRIAL TRACTS UNIT 1; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $30,165.58 is appropriated from the Water Distribution Main Trust
Fund No. 540450-21806-4030 to reimburse Donald and Kathleen Kir fiber 's
reimbursement request for the installation of 928 linear feet of 8 -inch PVC water
distribution main for Rhew Industrial T rat Unit 1, located south of Leopard Street and
east of Rhew Road.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy
attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take
effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 26th of February, 200 8.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance an
emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting on ordinances at two regular meetings: leve, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or
at the present meeting of the City Council.
