AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO ACCEPT THE
SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$417,p00 FROM THE TEXAS HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
COMMISSION TO OPERATE A SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
FOR SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM PARTCIPANTS AGES ONE
TO EIGHTEEN YEARS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to accept the Summer Food Service Program Grant in the
amount of $417,000 from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to
operate a Summer Food Service Program for Summer Recreation Program
participants ages one to eighteen years.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption by the City Council.
