HomeMy WebLinkAbout027655 ORD - 04/15/2008Page 1 of 2 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $241,400.00 FROM THE MUNICIPAL COURT TECHNOLOGY FUND FOR MUNICIPAL COURT TECHNOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING VIDEO CONVERSION, PROXIMITY READERS, S, MENTALIX LIVE SCAN EQUIPMENT, CALL MANAGER, a WALK-IN MANAGER, , CAMEI AS AND OTHER DEFINED EQUIPMENT FOR ENFORCEMENT; CHANGING THE FY 2007-08 OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 027352 TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $241,400.00; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $241,400.00 from the Municipal Court Technology Fund and ` � appropriated for Municipal Court technological improvements including video conversion, proximity readers, Mentalix Live Scan equipment, Call Manager, Walk-in Manager, cameras and other defined equipment for enforcement. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 027352 which adopted the FY 2007-200 � Operating Budget is changed to increase appropriations by $241,400.00. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of Cityaffairs affarrs and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting on ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 15th of April, 2008.
