APPROVING THE REAPPOINTMENTS TS of DR. WILLIAM BURGIN, JR.,
AS THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY, AND DR. COLLETTE SIMON,
AS THE ALTERNATE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY, AND
AUTHORIZING ING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE COMPENSATION AGREEMENTS WITH DR. BURGIN AND
DR. SIMON FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC'S HEALTH,
SAFETY, AND WELFARE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS S CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the reappointments of Dr. William Burgin, Jr.,
as the local Health Authority, and Dr. Collette Simon, as the alternate local Health
Authority, in accordance with Chapter 121 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, and
authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute compensation agreements with
Dr. Burgin and Dr. Simon for the protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare.
