SUPPORT OF THE MISSION AND GOALS OF THE REGIONAL
HEALTH AWARENESS E1 ESS BOARD; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY F CORPUS
CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A grant of $21,367 from San Patricio Countyisappropriated `
� the
No. 1066 Health Grants Fund to provide personnel, mileage r imburs m nt
travel,
and office supplies in support of the mission and goals of the Regional Health
Awareness Board.
SECTION 2. Upon the written request of the Mayor or five Council members,
attached, the City Council:(1)finds and declares an r r enc due t the .� need for
immediate diat action necessary for the efficient and effective administration n f City
affairs, and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and `
ng
upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is pass90 and takes
effect upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the j_7113
