AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000 TO THE TEXAS
GENERAL LAND OFFICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PARTICIPATING IN
THE TEXAS COASTAL IMPACT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR
DESIGN ENHANCEMENTS AND DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL
RESOURCES FOR THE PROPOSED OSO NATURE CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to submit a grant application in the amount of $500,000 to
the Texas General Land Office for the purpose of participating in the Texas
Coastal Impact Assistance Program for design enhancements and development
of educational resources for the proposed Oso Nature Center.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption by the City Council.
