AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR H15 DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A SUB -RECIPIENT AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,500,730 WITH THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR'S DIVISION OF
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT
PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS
DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT, REJECT, ALTER, OR TERMINATE THE
GRANT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a sub -
recipient agreement in the amount of $1,500,730 with the Office of the Governor's
Division of Emergency Management Homeland Security Grant Program; and declaring
an emergency.
SECTION 2. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus
Christi assures that the funds will be returned, in full, to the State of Texas, Office of the
Govemor's Division of Emergency Management Homeland Security.
