AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
ACCEPT A GRANT OF $5,900 FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES TO PERFORM
INFLUENZA TESTING ON CLINICAL SPECIMENS SUBMITTED
FROM HOSPITALS AND CLINICS THROUGHOUT THE
SERVICE AREA AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant of
$5,900 from the Texas Department of State Health Services to perform influenza
testing on clinical specimens submitted from hospitals and clinics throughout the
service area and to execute all related documents.
