AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY, GOVERNOR'S DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,040.00 FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLANNING ACTIVITIES, IN THE NO.
1062 FIRE GRANTS FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to accept a grant from
the Texas Department of Public Safety, Governor's Division of Emergency
Management, in the amount of $13,040.00 for hazardous materials and emergency
preparedness planning activities, in the No. 1062 Fire Grants Fund.
SECTION 2. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus
Christi assures that the funds will be returned, in full, to the Texas Department of Public
Safety, Governor's Division of Emergency Management.
