AUTHORIZING SALE OF SIXTY-SEVEN (67) PROPERTIES SHOWN
ON THE ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED EXHIBIT A AT A TAX
RESALE AUCTION WITH OPENING BIOS OF 30% OF THE MOST
RECENT TAX APPRAISAL VALUE AS DESCRIBED ON THE
ATTACHED EXHIBIT A; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Thatp ursuant to Section 34.05 of the Tax Code, the governing body of
the City Corpus Cor us Christi authorizes the sale of sixty-seven (67) properties shown on
the attached and incorporated Exhibit A at a tax resale auction, with opening bids of
30% of the most recent tax appraisal value, as described on the attached Exhibit A.
Shouldro ert fail to sell, opening bid shall be further reduced by one-half.

SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, the CityCouncil (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and takes effect
upon first readingas an emergency measure this theJIof August, 2009.
