HomeMy WebLinkAbout028350 ORD - 10/13/2009Page 1 of 2 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $32,321.91 FROM THE NO. 4220 SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE TRUST FUND TO REIMBURSE SENIOR QUALITY LIFESTYLE CORPORATION, FOR THE EXTENSION OF AN 8 -INCH COLLECTION LINE, INCLUDING ALL RELATED APPURTENANCES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE VILLAGE AT TIMBERGATE UNIT 1, AS SPECIFIED IN THE SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE EXTENSION CONSTRUCTION AND REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $32,321.91 is appropriated from the No. 4220 Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust Fund to reimburse Senior Quality Lifestyle Corporation, for the extension of an 8 -inch collection line, including all related appurtenances for development of The Village at Timbergate Unit 1, as specified in the Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Extension Construction and Reimbursement Agreement. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordina ce is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the day of October, 2009.
