ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $401,691.55 FROM THE NO. 4220 SANITARY
SEWER COLLECTION LINE TRUST FUND TO REIMBURSE THE
PRESERVE AT MUSTANG ISLAND, LLC, FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF 529 LINEAR FEET OF 8 -INCH PVC SANITARY SEWER
COLLECTION LINE AND 1,537 LINEAR FEET OF 10 -INCH PVC
SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION LINE REQUIRED FOR FUTURE
DEVELOPMENT OF GENERAL LAND OFFICE PROPERTY UNDER
LEASE BY THE CITY, AS SPECIFIED IN THE ZAHN ROAD
CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $401,691.55 is appropriated from the No. 4220 Sanitary Sewer
Collection Line Trust Fund to reimburse The Preserve at Mustang Island, LLC, for the
installation of 529 linear feet of 8 -inch PVC sanitary sewer collection line and 1,537
linear feet of 10 -inch PVC sanitary sewer collection line required for future development
of General Land Office property under lease by the City, as specified in the Zahn Road
Construction Agreement.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is pAss�ed and takes effect
upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the /Q'_ -day of November, 2009.

at the present meeting of the City Council.
