A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE AN INTERAGENCY COOPERATION CONTRACT
WITH THE TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION FOR THE
PERIOD JANUARY 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2010
WHEREIN THE COMMISSION PROVIDES $30,000 TO FUND
THE HIRING OF A PERSON TO CONDUCT A COMPLETE
REINVENTORY OF THE LA BELLE ARTIFACT COLLECTIONS
HELD AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND
HISTORY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to execute
an Interagency Cooperation Contract with the Texas Historical
Commission for the period January 1 through December 31, 2010 wherein
the Commission provides $30,000 to fund the hiring of a person to
conduct a complete reinventory of the La Belle artifact collections held at
the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History.
