AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT
A GRANT OF $139,842 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE
HEALTH SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOR THE ELIMINATION AND '
CONTROL OF TUBERCULOSIS AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED
DOCUMENTS; AND RATIFYING ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRANT
AGREEMENT TO BEGIN JANUARY 1, 2010.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant in the
amount of $139,842 from the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide for
the elimination and control of tuberculosis and to execute all related documents.
Furthermore, the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant agreement with the State
of Texas to begin as of January 1, 2010.
