RATIFYING ACCEPTANCE OF A FUNDING AWARD IN THE AMOUNT
OF $1,581,737 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THE WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2009; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ALL
RELATED DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Acceptance of a funding award in the amount of $1,581,737 from the
Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs is hereby ratified to be effective
September 1, 2009. Furthermore, the City Manager or his designee is authorized to
execute all related documents.
