AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE U.S.
MARSHALS SERVICE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $60,144 FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE OFFICERS ON AN
OVERTIME BASIS TO SUPPORT THE USMS GULF COAST VIOLENT
OFFENDER AND FUGITIVE TASK FORCE, THE USMS PROVIDING
REIMBURSEMENT FOR OVERTIME, TRAVEL, TRAINING, FUEL,
SUPPLIES, OR EQUIPMENT.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a
memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Marshals Service in an amount not to
exceed $60,144 for the Police Department to provide officers on an overtime basis to
support the USMS Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force, the USMS
providing reimbursement for overtime, travel, training, fuel, supplies, or equipment.
