HomeMy WebLinkAbout028581 ORD - 04/27/2010Page 1 of 1' ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $166,501 FROM THE UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE IN THE BUSINESS/JOB DEVELOPMENT FUND NO. 1140 FOR THE CORPUS CHRISTI BUSINESS AND JOB DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AFFORDABLE HOUSING NEW CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM; CHANGING THE FY 2009-2010 OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 028252, TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $166,501; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $166,501 from the Unreserved Fund Balance in the Business/Job Development Fund No. 1140 is appropriated for the Corpus Christi Business and Job Development Corporation Affordable Housing New Construction Program; changing the FY 2009-2010 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 028252 to increase appropriations by $166,501. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinances passe• and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this thee% -lay of %/ 2010.
