AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING $296,483.86 FROM THE NO. 4030 WATER
ARTERIAL TRANSMISSION AND GRID MAIN TRUST FUND TO
REIMBURSE N.M. EDIFICIOS, LLC, FOR THE EXTENSION OF A 12 -
INCH GRID MAIN LINE, INCLUDING ALL RELATED
APPURTENANCES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF L & F SUBDIVISION,
LOT 1, AS SPECIFIED IN THE WATER GRID MAIN LINE EXTENSION
CONSTRUCTION AND REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $296,483.86 is appropriated from the No. 4030 Water Arterial
Transmission and Grid Main Trust Fund to reimburse N.M. Edificios, LLC, for the
extension of a 12 -inch grid main line, including all related appurtenances for
development of L&F Subdivision, Lot 1, as specified in the Water Grid Main Line
Extension Construction and Reimbursement Agreement.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy
attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take
effect upon first reading as an emergency this the /r -D-day oflAarch; 2010.

emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and

at the present meeting of the City Council.
