AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH DEL MAR COLLEGE
FOR 2,310 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE AND CLASSROOM
SPACE AT DEL MAR COLLEGE WEST CAMPUS TO BE USED
TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE AND INSTRUCTIONAL
SUPPORT TO THE FIRE ACADEMY, FOR ANNUAL RENTAL
PAYMENT OF $40,000, SUBJECT TO AUTOMATIC ANNUAL
RENEWALS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute a lease
agreement with Del Mar College for 2,310 square feet of office and classroom space at
Del Mar College West Campus to be used to provide administrative and instructional
support to the fire academy, for annual rental payment of $40,000, subject to automatic
annual renewals.

drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to
