ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF $3,320,106.64 FROM
NO. 1111 REINVESTMENT ZONE NO. 2 FUND TO AND
APPROPRIATING IN THE NO. 3278 PACKERY CHANNEL PROJECTS
TIF #2 FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PACKERY CHANNEL
PHASE 2 -- PARKING AND OVERLOOKS PROJECT AND OTHER
PROJECTS RELATING TO PACKERY CHANNEL; AMENDING THE
FY 2009-2010 CAPITAL BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO.
028449, BY INCREASING PROPOSED EXPENDITURES AND
REVENUES BY $881,106.64 EACH; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $3,320,106.64 in the No. 1111 Reinvestment Zone No. 2 Fund is
transferred to and appropriated in the No. 3278 Packery Channel Projects TIF #2 Fund
for the construction of Packery Channel Phase 2 -- Parking and Overlooks Project and
other projects relating to Packery Channel.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 028449, which adopted the FY 2009-2010 Capital
Budget, is changed by increasing proposed expenditures and revenues by $881,106.64
for the construction of Packery Channel Phase 2 -- Parking and Overlooks Project and
other projects relating to Packery Channel.
SECTION 3.—That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for
immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs
and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon
ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance ' assed and takes effect

emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings: I/we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or
at the present meeting of the City Council.
