AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT
A THREE-MONTH GRANT EXTENSION FROM THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES FOR THE WOMEN,
INFANTS, AND CHILDREN PROGRAM FOR OCTOBER 1, 2010 —
DECEMBER 31, 2010, AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED
DOCUMENTS; AND RATIFYING ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRANT
EXTENSION TO BEGIN AS OF OCTOBER 1, 2010.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a three-month
grant extension from the Texas Department of State Health Services for the Women,
Infants, and Children Program for October 1, 2010 — December 31, 2010, and to
execute all related documents. Additionally, the City Council ratifies the acceptance of
the grant extension to begin as of October 1, 2010.
