HomeMy WebLinkAbout028856 ORD - 11/16/2010Page 1 of 2 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $100,000 FROM SMG IN THE NO. 4710 VISITORS FACILITIES FUND FOR AMERICAN BANK CENTER CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; CHANGING THE FY 2010-2011 OPERATING BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 028683, BY INCREASING BOTH PROPOSED REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES BY $100,000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $100,000 from SMG is appropriated in the No. 4710 Visitors Facilities Fund for American Bank Center capital expenditures. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 028683, which adopted the FY 2010-2011 Operating Fund, is changed to increase both proposed revenues and expenditures in the Fund 4710 Visitors Facilities Fund by $100,000 for capital expenditures. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is pipsed and takes effect upo irst readin g as an emergency measure on this the / ,day of pre49b-eA) , 2010.
