HomeMy WebLinkAbout028867 RES - 12/07/2010RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES MEDICAL DIRECTOR CONTRACT WITH CHRISTUS SPOHN HEALTH SYSTEM CORPORATION TO PROVIDE MEDICAL DIRECTOR SERVICES AND MEDICAL SUPERVISION TO THE CITY'S EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ("EMS"), FOR AN ANNUAL PAYMENT OF $30,000, AND SUBJECT TO AUTOMATIC ANNUAL RENEWALS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the Emergency Medical Services Medical Director Contract with Christus Spohn Health System Corporation to provide the medical director services and medical supervision to the City's Emergency Medical Services ("EMS"), for an annual payment of $30,000, and subject to automatic annual renewals. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
