RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,553 AND TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS WITH THE TEXAS
STATE LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES COMMISSION FOR THE LOAN
STAR LIBRARIES GRANT TO BE USED AS FOLLOWS: $33,553 FOR
FURNISHINGS FOR THE GREENWOOD BRANCH LIBRARY; AND
$15,000 FOR PUBLIC ACCESS COMPUTERS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to accept a grant in the
amount of $48,553 and to execute a contract and all related documents with the Texas
State Library and Archives Commission for the Loan Star Libraries Grant to be used as
follows: $33,553 for furnishings for the Greenwood Branch Library; and $15,000 for
public access computers.
