HomeMy WebLinkAbout028893 ORD - 12/14/2010AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PAYMENT FROM NUECES COUNTY IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,500 IN THE NO. 1066 HEALTH GRANTS FUND, AS THE FIDUCIARY AGENT ON BEHALF OF THE REGIONAL HEALTH AWARENESS BOARD, FOR SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE BOARD; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Payment from Nueces County in the amount of $15,500 is appropriated in the No. 1066 Health Grants Fund, as the fiduciary agent on behalf of the Regional Health Awareness Board, for services to be provided by the board. SECTION 2. Upon the written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council: (1) finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, and (2) suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passend takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure on this the 14 day of .PL G , 2010.
