AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT
A GRANT OF $56,329 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE
HEALTH SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOR THE ELIMINATION AND
CONTROL OF TUBERCULOSIS AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED
DOCUMENTS; AND TO RATIFY ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRANT TO
BEGIN AS OF JANUARY 1, 2011.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant of
$56,329 from the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide for the elimi-
nation and control of tuberculosis and to execute all related documents. Additionally,
the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant to begin as of January 1, 2011.
