AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT
A GRANT OF $724,501 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE
HEALTH SERVICES TO PROVIDE FOR THE WOMEN, INFANTS, AND
CHILDREN PROGRAM, BASED ON A $12.34 REIMBURSEMENT FOR
EACH PARTICIPANT SERVED, AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED
DOCUMENTS; AND TO RATIFY ACCEPTANCE OF/THE GRANT TO
BEGIN AS OF JANUARY 1, 2011.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to accept a grant of
$724,501 from the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide for the
Women, Infants, and Children Program, based on a $12.34 reimbursement for each
participant served, and to execute all related documents. Additionally, the City Council
ratifies acceptance of the grant to begin as of January 1, 2011.
