AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $48,750 FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENERGY
MONITORING SYSTEMS AT THE NAVIGATION BOULEVARD, SOUTH
STAPLES, AND SAND DOLLAR WATER PUMP STATIONS, WITH A
CITY MATCH OF $48,750 IN THE NO. 4010 WATER FUND, AND A
TOTAL PROJECT COSTS OF $97,500
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a grant application
to the Bureau of Reclamation in the amount of $48,750 for costs associated with energy
monitoring systems at the Navigation Boulevard, South Staples, and Sand Dollar Water
Pump Stations. The City match for this grant is $48,750 in the No. 4010 Water Fund,
for a total project costs of $97,500.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may accept, reject, agree to alter the
terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
