6. Twenty used sedans and a station wagon be purchased from the following
on the basis of low bid:
Hertz Corporation, Richardson, Texas
4 replacement subcompact sedans $ 19,784
12 replacement and 3 additional compact sedans 80,850
1 replacement intermediate sedan 6,290
Total - $106,924
Pagan Lewis Motors, Corpus Christi
1 compact station wagon Total - $ 5,543
Grand Total - $112,467
The three additional compact sedans are for the Police Department for
the additional officers added in Criminal Investigation in the 1981 -82
Budget. Bids were received from six firms.
