2. A public hearing to close a 20 -foot wide unimproved alley in Block 2,
Jones Addition be held on August 4, 1982. The request was made by the
Salvation Army who currently is constructing an office building
abutting the alley in Block 2. The alley is currently unimproved and
unused and there are no City or other utilities in the alley. It is
recommended that the alley be closed subject to drainage information
on site development being furnished by the Salvation Army, indicating
that no drainage problems will result from the closure.
