HomeMy WebLinkAbout029131 ORD - 07/19/2011Page 1 of 2 ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $41,000 IN FUND NO. 4611 AIRPORT CAPITAL RESERVE FUND, AUTHORIZING; THE TRANSFER OF $41,000 TO AND APPROPRIATING IN FUND NO. 4610 AIRPORT FUND TO FUND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT; AND CHANGING THE FY 2010-2011 OPERATING BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 028683 BY INCREASING REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $41,000 EACH; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $41,000 is appropriated in Fund No. 4611 Airport Capital Reserve Fund, authorizing the transfer of $41,000 to and appropriating in Fund No. 4610 Airport Fund to fund capital expenditures at the Corpus Christi International Airport and changing the FY 2010-2011 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 028683 by increasing revenues and appropriations by $41,000 each. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordin n e is passed and takes effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the iita day of July, 2011.
