Approving the FY 2012 Capital Budget and Capital Improvement Planning
Guide in the amount of X00 $160,338,500.
Whereas, City Council approved first reading of the Capital Budget and Capital
Improvement Planning Guide on July 12, 2011;
Whereas, the Wastewater Oso WRP Effluent ReUse Distribution System Phase
1 was included as Project Sequence #28 in the FY 2012 Capital Budget and
Capital Improvement Planning Guide and initially provided a three year funding
schedule;
Whereas, on July 19, 2011, the City Council approved an amendment to the FY
2012 Capital Budget and Capital Improvement Planning Guide to include said
effluent project, to be funded from the reserves, and accomplished within a
twelve-month period;
Whereas, as indicated in the Capital Budget and Capital Improvement Planning
Guide, the additional cost for FY 2012 for the project increases the project cost
from $46,300 to $4,414,300, the result of including all three years of costs of the
project into FY 2012;
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas:
SECTION 1. That the FY 2012 Capital Budget and Capital Improvement
Planning Guide in the amount of $4-5-51-9-74-500 $160,338,500 is hereby
approved. A copy of the FY 2012 Capital Budget and Capital Improvement
Planning Guide as amended will be filed in the Office of the City Secretary.
