HomeMy WebLinkAbout029312 RES - 12/13/2011Page 1 of 2 Resolution authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to accept a grant in the amount of $49,990 from the U. S. Department of Transportation to enhance education, emergency response, and community awareness associated with pipeline safety issues and to execute all related documents; and ratifying acceptance of the grant to be effective September 29, 2011. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, that: Section 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to accept a grant in the amount of $49,990 from the U. S. Department of Transportation to enhance education, emergency response, and community awareness associated with pipeline safety issues and to execute all related documents necessary to implement the grant. Additionally, the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant to be effective as of September 29, 2011 Section 2. The City Manager, or designee, may reject, alter the terms of, or terminate the grant.
