HomeMy WebLinkAbout029363 ORD - 01/31/2012Page 1 of 2 Ordinance changing the FY 2011-2012 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 029135 by increasing appropriations by $500,000 for a separate Public Safety Warehouse Building Project for the Police Department; and declaring an emergency. Be it ordained by the City Council of Corpus Christi, Texas, that: Section 1. That the FY 2011-2012 Capital Budget adopted by Ordinance 029135 is changed by increasing appropriations by $500,000 for a separate Public Safety Warehouse Building Project for the Police Department. Section 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five council members, copy attached, the City Council finds and declares an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs and suspends the Charter rule that requires consideration of and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the 3 I S't day of January, 2012.
