amount of $59,914 to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor,
Criminal Justice Division for funding available under the Criminal
Justice Programs Fund for the Police Department to continue the
Regional Fusion Center, and authorizing the City Manager, or
designee, to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to submit a grant
application to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in the
amount of $59,914 for funding available under the Criminal Justice Programs Fund for
the Police Department to continue the Regional Fusion Center.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or his designee, may apply for, accept, reject, agree to
alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the City.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of these Criminal Justice Division funds,
the City of Corpus Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the Criminal Justice
Division in full.
