grant application to the State of Texas, Governor's Office, Texas
Music Office, in the amount of $3,000 for the Bay Jammin' 2012
Concert series.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1. The City Council finds that itis in the best interest of the citizens of Corpus
Christi, Texas, that the Bay Jammin' concerts be provided during 2012.
Section 2. In the event of the Toss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus Christi
City Council assures that the funds will be returned to the State of Texas, Governor's
Office, Texas Music Office in full.
Section 3. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a grant application
to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, Texas Music Office, in the amount of
$3,00.00 for the Bay Jammin' 2012 Concert series.
Section4. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to apply for, accept, reject,
alter, or terminate the grant on behalf of the City.
Section 5. The City Council for the City of Corpus Christi approves the submission of
the grant application for the Bay Jammin' 2012 concert series to the Governor's Office,
Texas Music Office.
Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its
adoption by the City Council.
